Our Priorities

United Way Yukon invests in three priority areas, as well as having a responsibility to advance reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.

Since 1995, Yukoners have raised more than $2.5 million through their local United Way. In addition to holding events like our annual breakfast & silent auction and the Air North plane pull, we also pursue business sponsorships, arrange payroll donations and encourage one-time and monthly donations from individuals.

Our Community Investment Committee is responsible for ensuring that we fund organizations that deliver valuable programs and projects that directly benefit vulnerable Yukoners and their families,  Funding local organizations allows them to focus on program delivery and spend less of their time and energy on fundraising.
